Good news, the website has been restored so you can now purchase your favourites. Sorry for the delay, there was a small technical issue…
Sorry if you are trying to buy anything from the website but it would appear to be doing funny things like showing a list of codes… We can’t report it until Monday and hopefully it will be fixed soon!
It’s almost Valentine’s Day and if you’re looking for a lovely – and practical – gift for your sweetheart, then you’ve come to the right place. The apron pictured here is part of our Limited Edition range and features lots of teacups and teapots with romantic hearts on the waistband and one of the ruffles. So. Cute. You can find this apron here, but be quick, there are only two left!
If you live in Sweden, you can now buy some of our products online from sheeptimes. This website is run by the lovely Ewa and we are very pleased to be featured in the gift section.
Please contact us if you wish to stock our products anywhere in Europe – just send an email with your details and requirements to firstname.lastname@example.org

When it gets to this time of year I have to admit to having a bit of a panic as it occurs to me that it will be November next week and I haven’t done any Christmas gift shopping! So to celebrate Halloween and help you with your gift budget we’re offering a 10% discount on all your purchases from Kiss The Cook! From now until midnight on Monday 31st October Tuesday 1st November, you can save 10% on every item you buy on the website. All you need to do is type 10%OFF in the “Promotional Code” box in your shopping basket and the discount will be applied automatically* – please ensure there are no spaces between the characters.
So shop early and avoid delivery delays** (we all remember the bad weather last Christmas!). Choose from the wide range of aprons, chefs’ jackets and other goodies available on our site and all made in Great Britain. Many of our items can be personalised too, so they make superb gifts.
Remember, Kiss The Cook products are not available on the high street, they can only be purchased from our on-line store. Delivery costs from £2.95 – some high street car parks charge this, and more, for parking your car for an hour. See full shipping details here. (We also despatch worldwide too.)
*Sorry, we cannot make refunds if you forget to use the code, so ensure you add it when you have filled your shopping basket.
**We expect a high demand for this offer so please allow up to 10 working days for us to despatch your order – if you need your goods quickly please send us an email as soon as your order has been confirmed and we’ll let you know if we can meet your deadline.
Oooh, what lovely new aprons we have! These are from our Limited Edition range and they’re gorgeous. The magenta apron above has a vintage broderie anglaise trim on the top ruffle and there’s even a secret pocket beneath it. Take a peek at our range here.
These aprons are exclusively made by us in Wiltshire and they would make the most lovely gifts for any cook!
These are part of our Exclusive Limited Edition because we have only made between one and four of each design and will not be making any more – make sure you buy your favourite one now before they’re all sold!
I am pleased to tell you that we have chosen a winner for our May Giveaway. I was drinking a cup of tea when I read this comment – big mistake – as I managed to almost choke with laughter…
The winner is Susie and this is what she said “We went for dinner at a Chinese restaurant. Halfway through the meal and everything was going great. Except I didn’t realise that my chunky bracelet had caught itself on the handle of a serving bowl. I made a sweeping gesture and catapulted a whole dish of sweet and sour across the neighbouring table and its diners. I have never been so embarrassed and I have never been back, which is a pity as it is a really good restaurant.”
We have contacted Susie and are waiting for her details to send her apron to her.
Watch out for a new giveaway to be announced shortly!
I like to think that the Duchess of Cambridge might be wearing one of our aprons while she’s cooking a romantic dinner for her new hubby. Scrolling through our ladies’ aprons I decided that this one was the most appropriate given that she is required to keep calm at all times!
We have one of these adult size aprons to give away if you can leave a comment telling us what your first meal together or your newly wedded meal consisted of and if it was a success or a disaster. I’ll choose the one that makes me laugh most by the end of May…
My Mum & Dad were married just after WWII (while there was still a fair amount of rationing). The day after they were married, he went back to work and she prepared her first meal for him. Unbeknown to her, he had received a wedding gift of a sack of seed potatoes for planting and – yes – you guessed it – she cooked them!
There were no ill-effects and they remained married for ever. Dad grew all our vegetables and never again kept his seed potatoes in the house…
If you can’t wait until the end of the month to find out if you’ve won, you can purchase this apron here (we’ve enlarged the design to make it easier to cut around all those scrolls in the crown…).
This is Bailey, he is the cutest Bichon Frise you’ll ever meet. Bailey lives in Dublin and he’s a very brave dog because he suffers from diabetes which means he has insulin injections twice a day. I made him a personalised bandana as a small gift for being a brave little soldier. So here he is modelling it (on Mum & Dad’s bed, where he’s not normally allowed - when Dad’s there…).
We will be stocking personalised doggie bandanas on the website soon.
We are really pleased to tell you that our aprons are now sold exclusively in Spain by Cooking The Kitchen Company with beautiful shops in Madrid (2) & Barcelona (1). We have a long association with Cooking, supplying aprons and chef’s hats to the first store in Madrid three years’ ago. The newest Madrid store opens this week – good luck to everyone involved.
Strange fact: Cooking will not stock any black aprons for women…
